Woohoo! Time for another sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary! Hope you take a few minutes and play along!
The minute I saw the background, I knew I'd use the Sunflower background stamp! Just thought it would work perfectly for the sketch! And…it uses my favorite color…Daffodil Delight!
I started with the base card of Daffodil Delight and added a layer of Early Espresso cardstock. I inked up the Sunflower background stamp with my Daffodil Delight, More Mustard and Early Espresso Stampin' Write Markers, then stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock. I added a trim of the Early Espresso Eyelet Border Punch (retiring soon!), and a sneak peek of the NEW ribbon…Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon. It is definitely YUMMY!
I punched the Large Tag Punch from More Mustard and ran it thru the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Impressions Folder. I added a Vintage Brad at the top. Then I stamped Mom from Family Reunion stamp set in Early Espresso on Daffodil Delight and punched with the Modern Label punch. It is popped up on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Make sure to check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with the sketch over on Create with Connie and Mary. Then grab your stamps and play along!
Love the sunflower background stamp! This layout is such a great way to show off the beautiful stamp! Beautiful as usual!!
Beautiful card. I love this stamp and have it but have a hard time getting it to stamp properly without missing sections of the stamp. I have tried various ways of stamping it. Any suggestions?
I have this stamp and just never know what to do with it. So cute with all the layers!
The sunflower is a perfect way to interpret this sketch. And it looks so summery. I don't have this stamp, but your card almost makes me want to order one. Thanks for sharing
I absolutely love this background stamp & your card is a prime example of why I love it so much!!!
Very pretty summer card!
Love the sunflower card. You are such a whiz at using markers for your details of the flower and its center! Another wonderful card that I am thinking about CASEing. Nancy B
Sunshiney bright! Love it!
