November 3, 2016 By Connie | 7 Comments

It’s Thursday and that means a new Create with Connie and Mary challenge!  It’s a FUN sketch…our Challenge Team came up with some GREAT looks using it!  So…grab your stamps and play along!

Here’s my card using Stitched with Cheer stamp set:

Here are the details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pool Party, folded in half.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White was embossed with the Pretty Paisleys Embossing Folder.
  • In the center, the snowflake was Stitched with Cheer was stamped with Pool Party Ink three times.  In between the stitched heart was stamped with Real Red Ink twice.
  • Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes were added to the center.
  • Merry Christmas was stamped with Real Red on Pool Party cardstock, hand cut, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

That’s it!  Pretty easy, but I love the snowflakes inside the embossed oval!  Check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did this week over on Create with Connie and Mary.

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 18 years and had my 17 year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!

What a pretty festive card. I love the CAS look and the embossed oval sets it off perfectly

This is so lovely, Connie! It really has that sweet, country Christmas feel. There was a publication that I used to subscribe to called Country Sampler. I would pour over each page and dream of decorating my home with many of the items featured in that magazine. Your card would have felt right at home among the pages of that publication!
