Hello Thursday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge! This month we are doing “Case the Catalog” cards! We have one of the catalog samples as inspiration and can use the layout, the colors or overall design to make our challenge card. I used the layout (and know I’ll be using it again in the future!)
PAMPERED PETS
I went back and forth on whether or not to get the Pampered Pets Suite. Since I’m more of a cat person, I love that they have both dog and cat images in the set! Glad I did get it…so fun!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Flirty Flamingo cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Playful Pets Designer Paper was added for the background.
- Two large stitched squares were cut from Flirty Flamingo and Real Red with the Stitched Shapes Dies.
- The Playful Pets Trim was wrapped around the Flirty Flamingo square and tied in a bow, then added to the front. The Real Red square was added on top.
- The greeting from Pampered Pets was stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the second smallest Stitched Shape Oval. It was added on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The cat from Pampered Pets was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Crumb Cake Combo Blends, the ears and cheeks with Light Flirty Flamingo Blends. It was cut with the Pet Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The mouse was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, colored with Light Smoky Slate Blends and hand-cut, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A Trio of Red Rhinestones were added to the background.
