It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a wonderful color challenge for you to try this week!
TRANSLUCENT FLORALS
Definitely a more muted color scheme to use this week for our challenge! I still managed to use florals, even without a green color! lol! This set is a new set that will be available in the Holiday Catalog. Demos have a Creatively Now Day coming up and were able to preorder it to use for that day!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Moody Mauve cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Gray Granite cardstock was cut with the Stitched Whimsey Die to create a stitched border.
- The Translucent Florals flower blossoms were stamped with Moody Mauve Ink, the leaf cluster with Misty Moonlight Ink, the stems with Gray Granite Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Translucent Florals Dies. All were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The blue Tinsel Four Pack Gems were added to the flower centers and background.
- The greeting was stamped with Misty Moonlight on 3/4 x 2 piece of Basic White cardstock, cut at a flag end and tucked under the flowers.
