It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. What a pretty color combination for Spring! It’s right around the corner!
SIMPLY ZINNIA
I’m having so much fun with the new online exclusive Simply Zinnia bundle…but I wanted to use these softer pastel colors on my flowers! I did cheat a little and added a little green for the stems and leaves. But I kept it a muted color green.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Flirty Flamingo cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- Two 3/4 x 5-1/2 strips of Lighter Than Air 6×6 DSP were added to the sides of the base card.
- The 3 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the greeting from Excellent Eggs in Flirty Famingo Ink towards the bottom.
- The flower bunch from Simply Zinnia stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with Flirty Flamingo Combo, Balmy Blue Combo, Lemon Lolly Combo and Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins were added in the background.
