It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. A great sketch for you to try this week! You can replace the circles with ANY type of element like I did!
BEACH DAY
I had my Beach Day stamps sitting on my desk and thought the palm trees would be great for the circle elements!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Winter Meadow Designer Paper (carryover) was added to the front.
- A 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Pool Party cardstock was blended along the top with Pool Party Ink and adhered to the front.
- A 1 x 4-1/2 strip of Crumb Cake was cut with the curved Beach Day Die and stamped with the greeting in Memento Black Ink, then added across the Pool Party cardstock.
- Four palm tree leaves and two grasses were cut with the Beach Day Dies from Granny Apple Green cardstock and blended with Old Olive Ink. The tree trunks were cut from Crumb Cake cardstock.
- All were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two birds were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots were added for coconuts in the trees and one laying on the ground.
