This is going to be short and sweet! I'm fighting a MEGA head cold and it hurts to be sitting upright for any length of time!
Today's last Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge of the 2010 year is the theme of Let it Snow! Very appropriate, although we are supposed to warm up to the 50s by the end of the week…a mini heat wave!
I used a new greeting set for me called, Hope Happens, as the focal stamped image in the center. I stamped it with Night of Navy on Whisper White, then punched with the 2 1/2 circle. The rest of the card is made from pieces of "starts" on my desk. You know what starts are…those unfinished pieces that have been set aside from another project! I had the Perfect Polka Dot Impressions Folder background on Whisper White already done. I wrapped two scrap lengths of Night of Navy 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon around to the back and secured. The greeting focal piece was placed in the center with Stampin' Dimensionals. I had the Bashful Blue snowflakes from Northern Frost Strip Die already cut and laying on my desk. i added some Rhinestone Jewels to the centers of each and placed on the front with Mini Glue Dots. I added a trio of the small Rhinestone Jewels on the top corner of the circle. Everything was placed on the base card of Bashful Blue (the other half of a card already made!). LOVE it when I can use up some of my start pieces!
I thought the greeting was a nice sentiment to start of the New Year! Make sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge Team did this week! Then create your own Let it Snow inspiration and post it to Inlinkz! We love to see what you do!
Happy New Year!

Don't you just love our new little snow flakes! Your card is so adorable. Hope you feel better! I had that head cold a few weeks ago and it lasted almost 2 weeks, hope yours doesn't!

Love the card! The sentiment is great! I gotta look that up! Thanks for sharing this card since I have some people still to send a card and letter to for the holidays.

I don't post very often on your blog but I read it just about every day. Thank you for all the fun and inspiration you have given me in 2010. I am looking forward to 2011.

I just love the color combination used on this beautiful card! The double row of narrow ribbon looks gorgeous with those snowflakes and the sentiment is awesome!
