Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Plants”, and we each create a simple card every week using that theme!
I’ve had already stamped the cactus for this card and it was sitting in my bag of “starts”. I pulled it out to create this card around it! Love when I can use up a couple of things in my bag.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Coastal Cabana cardstock is added on top.
- A 2-1/4 x 5 piece of Sweet Talk Designer Paper was adhered along the bottom with a 1 x 4 piece of coordinating Sweet Talk DSP adedd across it.
- The cactus was stamped with Garden Green and the pot with Coastal Cabana Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut/punched with the Cactus Builder Punch.
- The flowers were punched from Sweet Talk DSP with the punch.
- Hello was stamped with Garden Green Ink on a 1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Sweet Talk DSP.
- Everything was added to a Stitched Rectangle Die cut from Basic White cardstock.
- Some Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the background and the pot.
