Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “FLOWERS”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!
Sometimes I’m just in the mood to color! I wanted this flower to be a bright, intense red color, so I used the new Sweet Sorbet In Color!
HAPPINESS ABOUNDS
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Sweet Sorbet cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with the greeting in Sweet Sorbet Ink, then added to the front.
- A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper was added down the right side.
- The flower and leaves from Happiness Abounds were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with the Sweet Sorbet, Cherry Cobbler, Parakeet Party, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Bloomin’ Happiness Dies and added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
