Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Sweet” cards. This theme should be lots of fun this month!
BLUEBERRY BUNCHES
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Blueberry Bushel cardstock, scored at 1-1/2 and 4-1/4 and folded so the shorter flap folds back on itself. I adhered it to the base.
- Two 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strips of Glorious Gingham 6×6 Designer Paper were added on front and inside, reversing the patterns.
- The medallion from Thoughtful Expressions Dies was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the greeting in Blueberry Bushel Ink. It was added to the front flap with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The blueberry bunch was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut and added to the medallion with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow around the stem.
- The three Iridescent Adhesive Backed Disks were added to the medallion and background.
- Some Wink of Stella was added to the blueberries for a little sparkle!
- A 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was added to the inside.
