Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Birthday” cards. I am always needing birthday cards!
BEACH DAY
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 1 x 4 strip of stripe A Little Latte Designer Paper was added to the bottom of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White.
- Happy Birthday and the bird were stamped with Memento Black Ink at the top of the Basic White, then added to the base card.
- The Deckle Circle was cut with the Die from Pool Party Ink. A smaller portion of Crumb Cake was also cut with the Deckle Circle Die for the sand.
- The sand was stamped with the shells image and Crumb Cake ink a couple times and the top torn across, then adhered to the Pool Party circle.
- Three surfboards and the beach ball were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Parakeet Party, Azure Afternoon and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, along with Poppy Parade for the beach ball. They were cut with the Beach Day Dies. All wer added to the “sand” with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Swirl Dots were added to the background and the sand.
