Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Nature” cards. Stampin’ Up! has so many great sets for this category!
INSPIRATIONAL SKETCHES
My second card this week using my new Inspirational Sketches stamp set…perfect for this Nature theme! I wanted a more muted look so I used Gray Granite for the outline image and then colored it with a new In Color, Peach Pie!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Peach Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper was cut on a couple angles and added to the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Copper Clay cardstock.
- The daisy image was stamped with Gray Granite Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Peach Pie, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Everyday Details circle Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Inspirational Sketches was stamped with Copper Clay Ink on 1/2 x 3 Peach Pie cardstock and the end cut at an angle. It was added to the front.
- A trio of gold Sparkle Gems were added to the background.
