Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. It’s a new month and July’s theme is “Summer”. Cards that have a represent the warmer temps and longer days…at least here in Ohio!
BEACH DAY
Nothing says summer to me like a day at the beach! I love feeling the sand between my toes and just relaxing with a good book!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 3 x 4 piece of Crumb Cake was torn in half, then layered on top of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party cardstock.
- The grasses were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink along the “sand”.
- Three surfboards were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Full of Life 6×6 Designer Paper, then cut with the Beach Day Die. They were added to the sand with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The sun was punched from Lemon Lolly cardstock with the 1-1/2″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive) and brushed with Daffodil Delight Ink and added to the background.
- The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the background.
- The seagull was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Die and added to the sun with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Three blue Iridescent Adhesive Backed Disks were added to the background.
