Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. Our August theme is “Scenic”.
DELICATE FOREST
This Delicate Forest arch die is so fun to use. I used it to frame the Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper on this easy to make card! Once again, I only used the Designer Paper and cut out the cute little ducks for the focal point.
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- I cut the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White with the arch from Delicate Forest Dies.
- Next, I cut a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of the Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper and adhered it behind the Basic White cut out layer, then added to the front of the base card.
- The mama duck and baby were hand-cut from the DSP and added to the pond with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- I stamped the greeting with Pretty Peacock Ink on Granny Apple Green cardstock and cut with the Delicate Forest Label Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- I also added a trio of Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs around the greeting
