CSF Saturday Blog Hop – Fall Trees

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are showing off Fall Trees on our cards! Stampin’ Up! has a lot of nice trees in their lineup! The Delicate Forest Bundle is one that I turn to frequently because it makes such quick cards!

DELICATE FOREST

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was brushed with Pool Party Ink across the top and Crumb Cake Ink along the bottom using a Blending Brush.
The top of the Delicate Forest tree was inked with Pumpkin Pie then the trunks drawn with the Early Espresso Marker on the stamp before stamping on the Basic White. Repeat with the Crushed Curry and Real Red Inks,
A 1-1/4 x 4 piece of Days of Autumn Designer Paper was adhered to the left side.
The rust Natural Tones Linen Thread was wrapped around and tied in a bow on the front.
The greeting was stamped with Crumb Cake Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and cut with the label Delicate Forest Die.
A trio of the green, orange, and red Faux Glass Dots were added under the greeting on the label.

IM355 – Delicate Forest

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty fall scene!

DELICATE FOREST

Looking at this photo, I liked how the darker green tones around the edges set off the bright colors of the foreground trees and tried to duplicate that look! Delicate Forest had the greenery arch I needed!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Season of Green & Gold was cut with the Delicate Forest Die.
I pencil marked the open area of the die cut onto the front of the Basic Beige, then stamped my trees. The center one was inked with Crushed Curry and sponged with Pumpkin Pie and Real Red. The right tree was inked with Real Red and sponged with Pumpkin Pie, the left one was inked with Pumpkin Pie and sponged with Real Red. I like the variation of leaf colors! The trunks I colored with an Early Espresso Marker. The die cut was added over the stamped images on the front.
A 1 x 4 piece of Pecan Pie was torn across the top and then stamped with the ground image from Delicate Forest Stamps with Pecan Pie Ink. It was adhered flush with the bottom of the card.
The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and cut with the long label from Delicate Forest Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the trunk of the middle tree with a Mini Glue Dot.

CS154 – Delicate Forest

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. Our August theme is “Scenic”.

DELICATE FOREST

This Delicate Forest arch die is so fun to use. I used it to frame the Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper on this easy to make card! Once again, I only used the Designer Paper and cut out the cute little ducks for the focal point.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
I cut the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White with the arch from Delicate Forest Dies.
Next, I cut a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of the Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper and adhered it behind the Basic White cut out layer, then added to the front of the base card.
The mama duck and baby were hand-cut from the DSP and added to the pond with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the greeting with Pretty Peacock Ink on Granny Apple Green cardstock and cut with the Delicate Forest Label Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I also added a trio of Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs around the greeting

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty tree photo! I love the unusual perspective!

DELICATE FOREST

I went looking for a tree image and this one in the Delicate Forest Stamp Set worked out perfectly!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pebbled Path cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-1/4 x 5-1/2 panel of Basic White cardstock was first stamped with center tree. I inked up the top portion of the tree with Poppy Parade Ink, then used the Early Espresso Marker for the tree and limb details and stamped in the center. I repeated the process with the Granny Apple Green tree, but shortened the length of the trunk, then did the Crushed Curry Tree the same way.
The ground was stamped with Granny Apple Green Ink under the tree trunks.
I used the Blending Brush to add Balmy Blue Ink in the center portion of the Basic White background.
Two 1/2 x 5-1/2 strips of Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP were added behind the Basic White Panel.
Some Pebbled Path 2023-25 In Color Jute Trim was wrapped a couple times and criss crossed on the front, then the panel added to the front of the base card.
The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and cut with the Unbounded Love label Die. It was added to the Jute Trim with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of 2023-25 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Z fold Cards

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Z fold cards”. There are many different types and versions of the Z fold…which version will our Design Team do? I went with a simple Z fold that I learned when I first started stamping! Seems like I haven’t made one in a LONG time!

DELICATE FOREST

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pretty Peacock cardstock, scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4, then the front folded back on itself.
A 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 piece of Poetic Expressions Designer Paper was added on the front panel.]
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped and stamped off with the tree from Delicate Forest Stamp Set with Pretty Peacock Ink towards the right side. It was added inside the Z-fold.
The larger label was cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock with the Nested Essentials Die and added to the left panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped on Pool Party cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink and cut with the label from Nested Essentials Dies, then the small tree cluster stamped with Pretty Peacock Ink in the lower left corner. It was added to the larger label.
Two small and one large Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems was added to the label.
