Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Autumn Wishes”! I love watching the sunrise through the trees around our house!
AUTUMN TREES
Again…I’m back with my little deer family die cut from Autumn Trees! This time I create a pretty sunrise or sunset background for them!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and foled.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic Beige cardstock was added on top.
- Two 1 x 5-1/4 strips of Timeless Plaid DSP were added to the left side.
- a 1/2 x 3-1/4 strip of coordinating Timeless Plaid DSP was added across them, centered.
- The greeting from Artistic Leaves stamp set was stamped in the lower right corner with Lost Lagoon Ink.
- The circle was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Spotlight on Nature Dies. It was brushed with Timid Tiger, Daffodil Delight and Lost Lagoon Inks to resemble a sunrise (or sunset!).
- The deer were cut from Basic Black cardstock using the Autumn Trees Die, then added to the circle.
- The bottom was trimmed off below the deer, then the circle added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Low-Profile Shimmer Dots were added to the background.
