Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Christmas Magic”! Are you getting lots of ideas for your Christmas cards?
BRANCHING OUT
This Branching Out set is so versatile…more than just for Christmas! I do think the pop of a red bow turned this into one though.
- The base is -1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock was added on top.
- The 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Autumn Toile DSP was added towards the bottom.
- The label shape was cut with the Branching Out die from Basic Beige cardstock and the greeting stamped with Early Espresso Ink. Some speckles were stamped and stamped off with Crumb Cake Ink.
- The pine branches were cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock and then stems colored with the SU900 Stampin’ Blends. They were adhered flat to the label.
- Two pinecones were cut from Pecan Pie cardstock and brushed with Early Espresso Ink and were adhered to the branches.
- A bow was made with the Real Red Shiny Ribbon and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot to the top of the branches.
- Two Traditional Shimmer Sequins were added to the background.
