Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Christmas Magic”! I think placing the ornaments on the tree is magical! They are the jewelry of the tree!
ORNAMENTAL CHRISTMAS
Super simple on this card…for when you are running out of time to make your cards!
- The base is -1/4 x 11 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Shaded Spruce is embossed with the Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder and added to the front of the base card.
- The Ornamental Christmas ornament was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the Ornamental Christmas greeting in Poppy Parade ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The top and bauble at the bottom of the ornament were cut from Gold Foil Paper and adhered.
- Some Gold & White Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added to the ornament top. An extra piece was tucked behind the ornament top and the top of the Shaded Spruce layer.
- One of the holly diecut images from the Christmas Tags & More Designer Paper was tucked behind the top of the ornament.
- Some red Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the holly and background.
