Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Critters and Insects”! I know Stampin’ Up! has lots of stamp images with this theme!
SWEET BUGS
I’m starting out this month using the darling Cute as a Bug Designer Paper for the focus on my card! Just a little additional stamping with the coordinating Sweet Bugs stamp set!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Soft Sea Foam cardstock was added on top.
- A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Cute as a Bug DSP was added down the right side.
- The Everyday Arches was cut with the Die from Basic White cardstock and brushed along the bottom with Soft Sea Foam Ink and across the top with Balmy Blue Ink.
- The dashed ground lines were stamped with Soft Sea Foam along the bottom and the flowers with Memento Black Ink. They were colored with Old Olive and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends.
- The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper left corner and the arch added to the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The snail with ladybug and the butterfly were hand-cut from the Cute as a Bug DSP and added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of pink Delightful Decorative Dots were added to the background.
