Our Creatively Simple theme for the month of June is “New In Colors”! Here’s my last card for the month with this theme!
FRAMED VIOLETS
Another favorite of the new In Colors – Hydrangea Hue! I wish we had a hydrangea stamp set that we could use with this beautiful color! But the violet bundle worked out well for today’s card!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Hydrangea Hue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of Delicate Dreams DSP was added down the right side.
- The scallop oval was cut with the die from Hydrangea Hue cardstock and adhered towards the left.
- The Basic White oval was cut with the die and adhered inside.
- The violets were stamped with Basic Black Hybrid Ink and watercolored with Hydrangea Hue and Mossy Meadow Inks. It was cut with the Die and added to the center of the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Hydrangea Hue ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Three Banner Punch. It was added to the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two of the flowers were cut with the die from Hydrangea Hue cardstock and two sizes of leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock. They were added next to the greeting with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Shimmering Dots were added to the center of the flowers and one in the background.
