YULETIDE VILLAGE
Well, I think I went off track a little. Yuletide Village is technically a Christmas type of stamp set, but I wanted to make it into a thatched cottage! Good to show that this set just isn’t for Christmas, right? And I just didn’t feel up to making another leaf card to be honest! lol!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is4-1/4 x 11 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Beige cardstock was added on top.
- The 2 x 3-1/2 strip of Iconic Celebrations Designer Paper was cut into a banner at the bottom and added to the right side.
- The greeting from Greetings of the Season was stamped above with Memento Black Ink.
- Th cottage, stone walls, and trees were stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 2-1/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White. They were colored with Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Wild Wheat, Old Olive, and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.
- The sky was brushed with Pool Party Ink using a Blending Brush.
- The cottage was cut with the Deckled Rectangle Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Pecan & Clear Ribboned Dots were added to the background.
