LAYERS OF BEAUTY
I haven’t made a “vintage” looking card for a LONG time! I thought the Layers of Beauty stamp set would be perfect for this week’s theme.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 new Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pecan Pie cardstock was embossed with the new Eyelet Embossing Folder and the edges roughed up and curled. It was adhered on the front.
- The large flower cluster from Layers of Beauty was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and cut with the Layers of Beauty Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and some of the edges curled up.
- The extra leaves were cut with the dies from Basic White cardstock and adhered behind the main image.
- The tag from the Layers of Beauty Dies was cut from both Pecan Pie and Basic White cardstock. The Basic White was stamped with the “hello” image from Unbounded Love stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. They were adhered together with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
- The tags were tied with Linen Thread tied in a bow on the front with big loops and long tails.
I’m really happy with how this turned out! I “may” be using this idea for my Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip swaps…have to get working on those! By the time you read this, I’m on my way home from the trip. I bet we have an AWESOME time!
