It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. This month was is our annual “Case the Catalog”! We use samples from the catalog to inspire the cards we make! Always fun to see if our design team uses the colors, the layout, the stamp set…or whatever element inspires them.
COUNTRY FLOWERS
I again used the layout for my inspiration. I’ve had a lot of need for sympathy cards lately and this greeting is so pretty in this set!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Perennial Lavender Designer Paper (Online Exclusive) is added on top with a 2-1/4 x 4 piece of coordinating Perennial Lavender DSP added on top.
- The stool from Country Flowers was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. The pail was stamped with Memento Black Ink and the greenery with Pretty Peacock on Basic White cardstock. They were colored with Lost Lagoon and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Dies (the pail top was cut off at the second line down) and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Pretty Peacock on Basic White and punched with the Labeled with Love Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of dark Purple Gems were added in the background.
