Another Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. What a unique sketch! I’m excited to see what the Challenge Team does with this!
SNOWY WONDER
I liked the grid, but thought it needed a little sumthin’ sumthin’! I ended up doing a little focal element with the penguin from Snowy Wonder!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- I cut three 1/2 x 4 strips and three 1/2 x 3-1/4 strips of Snowy Scenes Designer Paper in two patterns (actually the reverse of each other). They were weaved on the front and adhered.
- Let it Snow from Snowy Wonder stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the bottom right corner.
- I punched a 2″ Circle from Pool Party cardstock and stamped the snow flurries with White Craft Ink all over the background randomly.
- I tore a 1 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock across the top for the snowbank. I added it to the bottom of the circle and trimmed off the excess.
- Two trees were stamped with Garden Green Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock, colored with Light Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends, and cut with the Snowy Wonder Dies. The penguin was hand-cut from the designer paper. All were added to the circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The circle was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
