It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a summery color challenge! When I first looked at this challenge, I thought we had just done a challenge with these colors…I had to go back and look! Similar, but we used Calypso Coral instead of the Melon Mambo…so it is different!
IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM
I’m kind of on a kick about using this new Online Exclusive set, Impressions Abloom! Of course, it’s flowers…always one of my favorites to design!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Summer Splash cardstock was added on top.
- The 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Lovely Garden DSP was added to the bottom.
- The greeting from Impressions Abloom was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 strip of Basic White and the end cut at an angle. It was added on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to help hide the seam.
- The flowers were cut from Melon Mambo and Basic White and the leaves from Lemon Lime Twist using the Impressions Abloom Dies. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the base of the white flower.
- Some Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems were added to the background.
