Saturday Blog Hop – Halloween Glam

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  This week’s challenge is “Halloween Glam”…what do you think of when you hear that?  I think of sparkle…but Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have any glimmer paper in the color I needed in their current lineup!  So, I dressed up my ghost in flowers so she’s kind of glamourous!  And the Flat Pearls do add a little sparkle!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Timid Tiger cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and olded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Spooky Sweet Designer Paper was added on top.
  • A coordinating1-1/4 x 4 strip of Spooky Sweet DSP was added over it towards the bottom.
  • The ghost is the Everyday Arches cut from Basic White cardstock and the bottom trimmed as a curvy line.
  • The eyes are the small Impressions Abloom centers cut from Basic Black cardstock.
  • The Impressions Abloom flowers were cut from Timid Tiger and Peach Pie cardstocks, the leaf stems and centers from Pecan Pie cardstock, the center of the small flowers from DSP and the other flowers from Basic Black cardstock using the dies.  They were assembled next to the ghost and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Boo from Choose Happy stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/8 x 1 Peach Pie cardstock and the end cut on an angle.  It was tucked in the flowers with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • A trio of 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is a pretty field of flowers!

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM

Well, I’m kind of cheating here.  I had originally designed this card for my Stamp Class last month, then changed up what I wanted to do!  But I thought it fit pretty well for today’s challenge.  Had I made it specifically for this challenge, I probably would have used different colored flowers…but I wasn’t going to re-do it!  lol!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Woven Textures DSP was added on top.
  • The oval from Impressions Abloom Dies was cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock, then embossed with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder, then added to the front.
  • The flower stems and leaf branch from Impressions Abloom Dies were cut from Garden Green cardstock.  The flower tops were cut from Real Red cardstock.  They were assembled together and added to the left side of the oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Impressions Abloom was stamped on 3/4 x 3-1/2 Basic White strip of cardstock with Real Red Ink and the ends cut at an angle.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the bottom flower.
  • A trio of Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gold/white Gems were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is a field of brightly colored flowers!

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM

I love both the flower stamps and flower dies in this Impressions Abloom bundle…but I chose to only use the Dies on this card!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lovely Garden DSP was added on top.
  • The oval was cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock using the Impressions Abloom die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The small, medium and large flowers with impressions details were cut from Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger and Strawberry Slush cardstock.  The centers from Blackberry Bliss and the leaves from Garden Green cardstock.  All were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Impressions Abloom was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink on 1/2 x 2 Basic White cardstock strip and the end cut at an angle.  It was tucked under the flowers on the left side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls were added to the background.

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  This week our theme is “Favorite New Bundle 2025”.

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM

It was a toss-up between Impressions Abloom or Sunrise Sailing on which is my favorite new bundle right now!  I went with the one that I’ve used the most!  I also LOVE this Painted Stripes Background stamp but haven’t used it yet.  With Memorial Day right around the corner, I made up a red, white and blue card using it!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Painted Stripes Stamp using Poppy Parade Ink.
  • The oval from Impressions Abloom Dies was cut from Misty Moonlight and embossed with the Eyelet Embossing Folder, then adhered to the front.
  • Two large Impressions Abloom flowers were stamped off with Misty Moonlight ink, then the details with full Misty Moonlight Ink.  The centers were stamped with Poppy Parade.  They were cut with the outline and detail flower dies then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The leaves were all cut from Lemon Lime Twist.  The fan flowers from Basic White cardstock.  All were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Hello from Simply Said stamp set was stamped with Poppy Parade Ink on 1/2 x 1-1/2 Basic White, the ends cut at an angle.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Iridescent Faceted Gems were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New In Color 2025

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  This week our theme is “Favorite New In Color 2025”.

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM

I was torn between two new In Colors that I’m particularly drawn to for 2025-27…Cloud Cover and the returning Strawberry Slush.  Since we don’t have the ink pad yet for Cloud Cover, I went with Strawberry Slush on today’s card!  And also because I had ALL these parts already on my desk…just had to put them on a base card!  lol!

Stampin’ Deta

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Strawberry Slush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
  • The 3 x 5-1/4 piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock was embossed with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder, then trimmed along the edge around the floral pattern.
  • I used a sponge dauber and White Craft Ink to highlight the raised areas and let it dry.  It was added to the left side.
  • A 1/4 x 3 strip of Pretty in Pink cardstock was adhered behind the 3/4 x 3-1/2 strip of Floral Impressions DSP and added towards the bottom.
  • A 2″ circle was punched from Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The large flower was cut with the outline and detail die from Basic White cardstock and the smaller flower from Strawberry Slush cardstock.  The tiny flower was cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock with the die.  They were adhered together and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The leaves were stamped with Garden Green Ink on Soft Sea Foam and cut with the dies.  They were added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals tucked under the flower.

Here’s our final card for the theme of Gardens this month with our Creatively Simple challenge!

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM

Using the new Impressions Abloom stamp set again for a simple card featuring a couple of the new In Colors, too!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 3-1/2 x 5 piece of Timid Tiger cardstock was added on top.
  • The 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped in the lower left corner with the larger solid flower in Timid Tiger Ink, the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist Ink and the greeting slightly overlapping with Memento Black Ink.
  • The smaller flower was stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock with Strawberry Slush Ink with two leaves in Lemon Lime Twist Ink.  They were cut with the Impressions Abloom Dies and added next to the larger flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The Cloud Cover large and small 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls were added to the center of the flowers.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  This week is a summery color challenge!  When I first looked at this challenge, I thought we had just done a challenge with these colors…I had to go back and look!  Similar, but we used Calypso Coral instead of the Melon Mambo…so it is different!

IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM

I’m kind of on a kick about using this new Online Exclusive set, Impressions Abloom!  Of course, it’s flowers…always one of my favorites to design!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Summer Splash cardstock was added on top.
  • The 2-1/2 x 4 piece of Lovely Garden DSP was added to the bottom.
  • The greeting from Impressions Abloom was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 strip of Basic White and the end cut at an angle.  It was added on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to help hide the seam.
  • The flowers were cut from Melon Mambo and Basic White and the leaves from Lemon Lime Twist using the Impressions Abloom Dies.  They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the base of the white flower.
  • Some Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is a cute bunny in a daisy patch!

STORYBOOK FRIENDS

I thought one more spring card for Easter would be fun to make!  I love the neutrals in this one…with just a POP of yellow!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Perennial Garden DSP was added to the front.
  • The bunny from Storybook Friends was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Crumb Cake Combo and Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.  It was cut with the Storybook Friends Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Several flowers were cut from Basic White cardstock with the new Impressions Abloom Dies (Online Exclusive), the centers from Darling Ducking cardstock (new In Color) and the leaves from Crumb Cake cardstock.  All were assembled around the bunny and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the centers with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
  • Happy Spring from Storybook Friends was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock and the end cut at an angle.  It was tucked around the bunny and the flowers with Stampin’  Dimensionals.
