It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We’ve got a fun color challenge this week! This challenge will run for TWO weeks to allow our design team to enjoy the Christmas holiday! Hope you have a blessed one! Merry Christmas!
SWEET BUGS
This bundle caught my eye with all the sweet bugs in it! Here’s my first chance using it! I can’t tell you the last time I’ve used Shy Shamrock…probably when it first came out! Just not a color green that pulls me in…good thing Stampin’ Up! has LOTS of colors of green!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Shy Shamrock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the new Hearts of Love Embossing Folder.
- A 1 x 4 strip of Pleasant Patterns Specialty DSP was added towards the bottom (this has a glossy look on the stripes…so fun!)
- A 1/4 x 4 strip of Berry Burst cardstock was added on top of the DSP.
- The Sweet Bugs image and ground flowers were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Berry Burst and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Stylish Shapes large circle Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Sweet Bugs greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/8 x 3 strip of Shy Shamrock cardstock and cut apart, then added to the front and circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots (Last Chance) were added to the background.
