It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! The July month of challenges are some of my favorites! Each week we will be using a sample card from the current Stampin’ Up! catalog and recreating it using either the layout, the colors, or a combination of both!
SPLASH & RELAX
Once again, I’ve used the layout to recreate this challenge using Splash & Relax! Love these coastal colors!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Coastal Cabana cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Splash of Sparkles DSP was added on top.
- The large banner was cut from Coastal Cabana using the Party Banner Die and added to the front.
- The innertube was stamped with Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight Inks on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Die, the handles cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock. It was added to the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The cut was cut with the Die from Azure Afternoon and Timid Tiger cardstocks and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flipflops were cut with the Die from Shaded Spruce and Daffodil Delight, adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The sunglasses were cut from Timid Tiger and Basic Black cardstocks and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink on 1/2 x 3-1/2 strip of Basic White cardstock and the ends cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background.
