Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a fun Easter egg home decor piece!
EXCELLENT EGGS
Yep…just had to use my Excellent Eggs Bundle for today’s card! I’m jealous that Mary found that DSP for her card and used those dies for her flower that were perfect! But I think mine turned out pretty sweet, too. I ended up having to reverse the colors, but it worked out with the same idea!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded. The Excellent Eggs greeting was stamped in the lower right corner with Coastal Cabana ink.
- A 4 x 4 piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock was embossed with the polka dot Basics Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive), then added to the front.
- The largest egg was cut from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper with the Excellent Eggs Dies.
- The 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock was cut on both sides with the scallop edge, then added to the front of the egg and trimmed.
- The Basic White flower was cut with the Around the Bend Dies and the center from Daffodil Delight cardstock, then added to the band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The egg was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Shiny Adhesive Backed Sequins (Online Exclusive) were added to the background.
