Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty seashell print! It would go great in my Florida house…just my colors!
BEACH DAY
I struggled with what I was going to do with this challenge. I had the Seaside Wishes Bundle in my cart when it suddenly went out of stock! But, when I saw the little scallop seashell in Beach Day, I knew I could make something with it!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Beige (NEW!) cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Balmy Blue cardstock was added on top.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White was blended with Crumb Cake and Balmy Blue Inks using the Blending Brushes.
- The grasses were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink along the bottom.
- The waves were stenciled (using the Die Cut) across the top with Balmy Blue Ink.
- The seagull was stamped with Early Espresso Ink at the top.
- The Unbounded Love Scallop Oval was cut with the Die from Basic Beige cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The seashells were cut with the Beach Day Die from Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake and Basic White, then added to the scallop oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Another one was cut from Basic Beige and added to the grasses.
- The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on scrap Basic White, then hand-cut and added to the Scallop Oval Die cut.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added under the greeting.
- The 2023-25 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots were added in the background.
