Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a wintery snowman landscape!
SNOWMAN HUGS
I combined two stamp sets…Snowman Hugs and Forever Forest to complete this card! I think it is a good representation of the inspiration photo, don’t you?
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- I tore a 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of scrap paper and made a mask to add the snowline by brushing Balmy Blue Ink along the torn edge onto a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock. I added snowdrifts the same way below the snow line.
- I stamped the row of trees from Forever Forest with Mossy Meadow Ink towards the right side, then a single tree towards the left side, leaving a gap. I colored the trunks with Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends and the ground under the trees with Light Crumb Cake Blends.
- The snowman from Snowman Hugs was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon, Light Basic Black, Light Gray Granite, Light Petal Pink, Light Pecan Pie, and Light Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends. He was hand-cut and added to the front of the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Snowman Hugs was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/4 x 2-1/2 and the end cut at an angle. It was adhered to the front.
- A trio of Iridescent Faceted Gems were added to the background and one to his hat band.
