Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a pretty Christmas Tree decorated in black, gold and white!
ORNAMENTAL CHRISTMAS
I’m sure it will come to no surprise to anyone that knows me, that I’m one of those “people” who have a completely coordinated tree. My colors are gold, teal and red ornaments with white lights! I do have a more random second tree that is white with multicolored lights and my snowman ornaments I’ve been collecting for the 46 years we’ve been married! The grandkids love to help me decorate that one!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1//4 x 11 Basic Black cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is embossed with the Jolly Holly Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- Two round ornaments were cut from the Modern Christmas Designer Paper and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals overlapping each other.
- The ornament tops and gold stars were cut from Gold Metallic Paper and added to the top of the ornaments and the background with Monoadhesive Glue.
- Some Gold & White Baker’s Twine was tied in bows and added to the tops of the ornaments.
- The Tis the Season greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink and hand-cut around the letters, then added to the bottom ornament with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I wasn’t sure about Stampin’ Up’s black and gold theme for Christmas at first, but I do like it now! OK, check out Debbie’s Inspiration Monday card over on Create with Stamping Friends!
