Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a greenhouse of plants!
FERN & FLORA
This inspiration photo was definitely a starting point for today’s potted plant card! I unfortunately do NOT have a green thumb. The only live plant I have is an African Violet that was my grandmother’s. She’s been gone over 45 years…so it is a pretty old plant and I baby it!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Secret Sea cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Moonlit Flora DSP was torn across the top and added to the bottom of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock, and that was added to the front.
- Two of the Jar Punch bases were punched from Cajun Craze and Basic Beige and embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (on the Last Chance list). they were added to the front staggered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The large narrow fern was cut from Lemon Lime Twist, the two fiddlesticks from Peaceful Pine, two pointed leaf ferns from Old Olive and two ivy ferns from Mossy Meadow cardstocks. All were assembled and adhered under the jar punch containers.
- The greeting was stamped on a 1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink and the ends cut at an angle.
- The moth was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, then added to the ferns with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- A trio of dark blue Moody Palette Dots were added to the background.
