Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is butterflies!
CUTEST CREW
I looked and looked for butterflies in my current stash of stamps. These Cutest Crew butterflies were so little that I didn’t think I could make an entire background with them…then I thought about a butterfly wreath! It worked!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Cute as a Bug DSP was added on the front.
- 1/2 x 4 strips of Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party and Highland Heather cardstocks were added to the center area on the front.
- I placed a scrap 2″ circle in the center of the 3-1/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White. I used that as a guide to stamp my Cutest Crew butterflies around the circle using Basic Black Hybrid Ink, then removed the circle.
- The butterflies were colored with Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.
- The greeting from Cutest Crew was stamped with Highland Heather Ink in the center.
- A double length of Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the wreath with a Mini Glue Dot.
- A trio of Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background for a little sparkle.
