Continuing with color themes this month, this week’s Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Black & White” cards. I think these monochromatic cards can be SO striking!
BLESSINGS OF HOME
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Black cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White is added on top.
- A 3 x 4 piece of striped Pattern Party DSP (Host only) was cut at a diagonal across the top and added to the bottom of the layer. The greeting from Blessings at Home was stamped with Memento Black Ink at the top left corner.
- The large floral image in Blessings at Home was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White and cut with the Flowers of Home Dies. It was added across the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Iridescent Rhinestones were added in the background and on the flower petal for a little bling!
- A little Wink of Stella was added to the large flower petals.
That’s it! It is hard to see how really pretty this card is and SO easy! OK, next up on our blog hop is our Create with Connie and Mary website, then on to creative Mary Brown, or head backwards to see Melissa Davies’ fabulous project and see what everyone did with this challenge!
