Saturday Blog Hop - Blue Ain't Your Color

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month we will be featuring song titles with colors in them! This week’s theme is “Blue Ain’t Your Color” by Keith Urban. We are to use any color blue on our cards!

CHARMING DAY

I guess I’m on a roll using the Charming Day stamp set for my Saturday Blog Hops! This one I combined with the gorgeous Peaceful Garden Designer Paper…it is definitely not all Christmas! It is in the upcoming Sept-Dec Mini Catalog.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Secret Sea was added on top.
The floral Peaceful Garden DSP was cut to 3-3/4 x 5 and added to the front.
The coordinating star Peaceful Garden DSP was cut to 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 and added towards the bottom.
Happy Birthday from Charming Day was stamped with Secret Sea Ink on 1 x 3-3/4 strip of Cloud Cover cardstock and added to the front above the DSP.
The flower from Charming Day was cut with the Die from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
A blue 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearl was added to the flower top.

I love the Secret Sea and Cloud Cover combination, and it worked perfectly for today’s “blue” challenge!
