BLOOMING PHRASES
Well, I’m quite on the kick about using this new Online Exclusive, Blooming Phrases! The scripty greetings are so pretty…and really are the focal point! One of the main ways I like to use vellum is embossing on it…but SU doesn’t carry plain vellum anymore. So, I wondered what it would look like on a printed vellum! I’d say it worked out REALLY well!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party cardstock was added on top.
- The 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Floral & Gingham Vellum was embossed with the new floral Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. It was added to the front with Mini Glue Dots in each corner and along the side. LOVE how it appears white when embossed!
- A 1 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Blooming Phrases greeting in Summer Splash Ink and the leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink. The flower was stamped with Strawberry Slush Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the stem with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Gold Striped 3/8″ Mesh Ribbon was tied in a knot and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
