This week’s Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is showing off our FAVORITE new In Color!  Hands down mine is Parakeet Party…I was SO excited to see a lime green in our lineup again!  But to be honest, I love all of them this year…nice and bright!

UNIQUELY ARTISTIC

I’ve used the stamp set that I received for virtually attending OnStage last month!  I thought the leaves image would work perfectly for my Parakeet Party card!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Black was added on top.
• A 3 x 4 piece of Parakeet Party In Color DSP was wrapped with the 1/8″ Metallic Parakeet Party Ribbon in a criss cross, then added to the front.
• The scallop rectangle was cut from Basic White with the Contour Scallops Die and stamped with the detail leaf image in Memento Black Ink and the inside with Parakeet Party Ink.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Thinking of You from Quiet Meadow cardstock was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Parakeet Party cardstock and the end cut at an angle.  It was added with Stampin’ Dimesionals.
• A trio of green In Color Matte Dots were added to the background.
