It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Favorite New Sept-December Catalog/Online Exclusive Designer Paper”! Stampin’ Up! really has awesome designer paper, so I’m sure this will be hard to pick just one!
AUTUMN OPULENCE
I finally settled on Autumn Opulence for my favorite…right now anyway! It is hidden in the new Online Exclusives! I love that it two sheets of die-cut pieces…makes it easy to create a card or scrapbook page when you are in a hurry! This card came together very easy! The background print is one of my favorites in this package!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is4-1/4 x 11 Cajun Craze cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 layer of Autumn Opulence DSP was added to a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Early Espresso cardstock, then adhered to the front of the base card.
- I used one of the die-cut labels in the DSP and stamped the Give Thanks greeting from Thanks & Giving Stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink in the upper right corner. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- TIP: Because the die-cuts are preprinted on white, I used a Blending Brush and Basic Beige Ink to change the white to beige on the label and around the edges of the die-cut pieces, so they blend better with the Very Vanilla DSP background.
- A 1/4 x 4 strip of Early Espresso cardstock was placed across the bottom.
- I used two of the rust die-cut leaves and the pumpkin/gourd trio die-cut and added them to the edge of the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Gold Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background of the label.
