It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Flowers for Fall!
FLOWERING MEADOW
So many choices! I wanted to use a more “unexpected” set…and settled on Flowering Meadow with a fall color twist! I’m in LOVE with the new Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies!!!! These dies will be a staple in my studio long after Christmas is over…hope Stampin’ Up! keeps them around!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Golden Glow cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 3-3/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Autumn Opulence DSP was adhered down the center (LOVE the colors in this sheet!)
- The 1-3/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Pecan Pie cardstock was embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder and added towards the left side.
- The scallop rectangle was cut from Golden Glow cardstock using the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies an added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flower heads from Flowering Meadow were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then stamped off for a lighter version. The stems were stamped under the lighter version with Peaceful Pine Ink. The centers were stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink. They were cut with the dies an added to the front.
- The leaf clusters were cut three times with the Flowering Meadow Die from Peaceful Pine cardstock and tucked around the flowrs.
- Just Because was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and trimmed.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem.
