This month our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hops will feature songs with colors in them! This week’s song is “Green Eyed Lady” by Sugarloaf. We are using shades of green on our cards!
TREASURED KINDNESS
This is the first time I’ve used my new Treasured Kindness Stamp Set and I really like how this turned out! The Artfully Composed Designer Paper is retiring at the end of the month, so make sure you grab some before it goes away! I thought the two-tone green stripe was perfect for this design.
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Artfully Composed Designer Paper was adhered to the right side of the base card.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was cut with the curve Border Basics Die. The Treasured Kindness stamps were used to stamp the ground in Mossy Meadow Ink, the tree trunk in Early Espresso Ink, the leaves in both Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive Inks, the greeting in Early Espresso Ink.
- A trio of Rustic Dots were added to the background.
