It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  This week we are featuring snow cards…one of my favorite themes!

SNOWY WONDER

Of course, I have quite the selection of snowman, snowflake, snow stamps and dies!  I really like the snowman in Snowy Wonder because he is nice and easy to stamp and go!  There are not a lot of fussy pieces to cut and assemble to make him look complete.

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
• The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Snowy Scenes Designer Paper is cut with the heart shape from the new online exclusive, Heart of Elegance dies.  (Save that heart for another project!)  Add the layer to the front of the base card with Foam Strips,
• The snowman, hat, and candy cane were all stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and cut with the Snowy Wonder Dies.  They were colored with Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Bubble Bath and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.  They were added to the inside of the heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• A hat band was just a sliver cut from Poppy Parade cardstock.
• The scarf is Real Red & White Baker’s Twine tied in a knot around his neck.
• Three snowflakes from Snowy Wonder were cut with the die from Basic White and added around the heart.
• The Real Red & White Peppermints were added to the center of the snowflakes and on his hat band.
• Let it Snow from Snowy Wonder stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink inside the heart.
