BLOOMING PHRASES
I ended up making two cards with different retiring colors using the same Blooming Phrases stamp set (a new online exclusive coming next month) and the Wildly Flowering Designer Paper. For this card I used the retiring In Color, Moody Mauve. Make sure to check out next Tuesday’s Creatively Simple card for the second card I made! This Blooming Phrases stamp set appealed to me with the long “tails” on the greetings that you can add different shapes of flowers!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Moody Mauve cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pebbled Bath cardstock was added on top.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Wildly Flowering DSP was placed next.
- Two leaf branches were cut with the Thankful Garden Dies from Wild Wheat cardstock and added to the front.
- The Blooming Phrases greeting was stamped with Wild Wheat Ink on 1 x 4-1/4 strip of Basic White cardstock. The flowers at the end were stamped with Moody Mauve Ink. This was added over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals towards the right side.
- Two 2023-25 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots were added under the greeting on the left side.
