It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Plaid Perfection!”
CHRISTMAS CREW
If you follow me, you know that I love snowman stamps! I use snowmen or snowflakes on my Christmas cards I send out each year. I used this Christmas Crew set for this year’s card (sorry…can’t show it yet). But for this challenge, the plaid tag in the Timeless Christmas DSP was perfect to use as my plaid background element today!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- A 1-1/4 x 4 strip of Poppy Parade cardstock was added up and down in the center.
- The plaid tag from Timeless Christmas DSP was cut out an adhered to the center.
- The red bow print was trimmed off another DSP section and added across the bottom of the plaid tag.
- Some Multicolor Christmas Baker’s Twine was tied in a knot thru the tag hole.
- The Christmas Crew snowman was stamped with Basic Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Peaceful Pine, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends.
- The greeting was stamped in the sign with Poppy Parade ink.
- He was cut out with the Christmas Crew Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The large and small red Adhesive Backed Sparkle Sequins were added to the background.
