On a personal note: Prayer warriors…please say a prayer for my dad, Jerry, today as he undergoes open heart bypass surgery. Pray for the skill of the physicians and the staff caring for him and for his recovery and continued health! Thank you!
The theme this time on SUO Challenges is Holiday Elegance! Oh so many ways you could go with this theme! I chose to continue with my love of embossing and picked the snowflake from Tin of Tags as the focal images on my card! It is SO pretty in real life!
Here are the details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded in half.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Silver Glimmer Paper. (To save this beautiful paper, I did cut a big rectangle out of the center!)
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Whisper White cardstock has been randomly stamped with the Snowflake from Tin of Tags stamp set with Versamark Ink, then embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.
- Joy to the Word from the same Tin of Tags stamp set is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Whisper White and cut with the circle Stitched Shape Framelit. Then layered on the Layering Scallop Circle Framelit cut from Silver Metallic Cardstock.
As I said, lots of shimmer and shine on this card…which truly represents Holiday Elegance for me! Check out what the others on the SUO Challenge Design Team came up with this time! I’m sure there will be some BEAUTIFUL cards as this group is SO talented!

I needed a snowflake card for a swap this weekend. I think I will give this a whirl since I just received that stamp set yesterday. This is really pretty and elegant!
