CSF899 – SNOWY DELIGHTS

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We’ve got a new sketch for you to try this week!

SNOWY DELIGHTS

Yep…I love this large snowflake in Snowy Delights! It was perfect for the centerpiece on this sketch! I haven’t even used the masks that go with this bundle! Again, I’m SO sad they have this on the Last Chance list! I think it is overlooked in the catalog!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
A 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 square of Peaceful Garden DSP was cut diagonally and then added to the top and bottom of the Basic White cardstock.
The outline snowflake was cut from Cloud Cover cardstock and the detail snowflake from Basic White cardstock and adhered together. It was added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Snowy Delight was stamped with Secret Sea Ink on a 3/4 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock and the ends cut at an angle. It was added to the snowflake with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A large silver Faceted Snowflakes was added to the center of the cut snowflake.

Saturday Blog Hop – Holiday Magic

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is “Holiday Magic”!

SNOWY DELIGHTS

I always think snow at Christmas is magical! I don’t really like it after Christmas…partly why we head to Florida for the winter! So, I chose to use the Snowy Delights bundle for today’s Holiday Magic card in some fun colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Highland Heather cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Everyday Happiness Designer Paper is added on top (it reminded me of snow falling!)
The largest Snowy Delights snowflake was cut from Highland Heather, the medium from Pretty in Pink and the smallest from Cloud Cover. They were adhered together and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Snowy Delights stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and cut with the label die. It was added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some purple Frosted Iridescent Dots were added to the snowflake.
The white Baker’s Twine was colored with a Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends, then tied in a bow and added below the greeting.

IM363 – One of a Kind

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is another wintery landscape!

ONE OF A KIND

I’m slightly obsessed about these simple snowflakes in the One of A Kind Dies. The stamp set also has some great greetings for winter and all through the year!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lost Lagoon cardstock was added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White cardstock was randomly stamped with the trio of small snowflakes in the One of a Kind stamp set using Pool Party Ink.
A 1-1/2 x 3-3/4 piece of tree pattern Winter Meadow Designer Paper (Online Exclusive) was added to the bottom.
A small piece of Silver Cord was adhered to the back and wrapped to the front and adhered.
The snowflake outline was cut from Pool Party cardstock with the One of a Kind Die and the detail from Basic White cardstock. They were adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some White Striped Trim was wrapped around the Basic White layer and tied in a bow towards the left side. That layer was added to the base card.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pool Party cardstock and cut with the Greetings of the Season Dies, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some In Color Shimmer Gems were added to the center of the snowflake and the top and bottom of the tag.

Saturday Blog Hop – Gold and Vanilla Christmas

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Gold and Vanilla Christmas on our cards! I always love this color combination…so rich looking!

ONE OF A KIND

Of course, I love snowflakes and snowmen…you all know that about me! I used the One of a Kind snowflake Die to create the “O” in snow along with the Alphabet a La Mode Dies.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Very Vanilla was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.
Two 1 x 3-3/4 strips of Season of Elegance Designer Paper were added to the top and the bottom of the embossed layer.
Some Gold Twisted Thread was wrapped around twice and tied in a bow towards the left side. That layer was added to the front of the base card.
S, N and W from the Alphabet a la Mode Dies were cut from Gold Foil Paper and the snowflake from the One of a Kind Dies. They were added to the front with Monoadhesive Glue.
Two small clear Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments were added to the center of the bow and the center of the snowflake for some extra sparkly fun!

ONE OF A KIND

I’ve gone with a simple card today…mostly because I ended up making TWO other cards for this challenge but mistakenly used Lemon Lolly instead of Lemon Lime Twist! Grrr…

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Azure Afternoon cardstock was added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and added to the front.
The One of a Kind snowflakes were cut from Lemon Lime Twist, Gray Granite and Azure Afternoon cardstocks using the die. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Christmas Labels was stamped with Azure Afternoon Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Christmas Labels Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three clear Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments were added to the center of the snowflakes for lots of bling!

CCMC740 – Snow Crystal

Hello! It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This time it is a fun color combination to inspire us!

SNOW CRYSTAL

I thought the large snowflake from Snow Crystal Stamp would be perfect done up in pink and blue colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Night of Navy cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with Polished Pink and Balmy Blue snowflakes and added to the front.
A 3 x 3-1/2 piece of Snowflake Vellum was added to the center.
The greeting from the new Framed & Festive stamp set (available while supplies last!) was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Balmy Blue cardstock and cut with the Seasonal Labels Die.
Another long Seasonal Labels Die was cut from Night of Navy cardstock. Both were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Solid Faceted Gems were added to the background in pink and blue.

What a FUN snowflake card with its bright colors! I may use this as my Christmas card this year! The Snowflake Vellum just adds so much sparkle in the background, too! Go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary

Maui Achievers Blog Hop – December 2020

Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve both Maui trips that will be held in May 2021 (hopefully!) December’s blog hop theme is ANYTHING CURRENT!

SNOWMAN SEASON AND WARM HUGS

I should know better by now…I’ve been married for 41 years! Early in December, I ask my husband if he needs me to make gifts for any of his co-workers or reports, and he says no. Then the week before Christmas, he decides that, yes, he does need “just a few gifts”, and I’m scrambling! It isn’t as if they are expensive…just more of a Thinking of You at Christmas type gift. This year I decided to use the Mini Coffee Carriers we have in the Mini Catalog (they are 50% off now!) I also made one for my UPS driver and my Nail Tech.

I used a combination of stamps and dies. Inside the decorated Mini Coffee Cup are some Lindt chocolates and a gift card. The other side holds a Bailey’s Mini Irish Cream bottle.

Stampin’ Details:

The outside of the Mini Coffee Carrier is covered with Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper (SO happy this will carry over…I love the small prints!)
The snowman from Snowman Season is stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White and colored with Light Basic Black, Dark Real Red, Light Shaded Spruce, Light Pool Party and Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends. He was punched with the Snowman Builder Punch.
The holly leaves from Poinsettia Dies were cut/embossed from Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cardstock and added in the background.
The snowflakes from So Many Snowflakes Dies were cut from Whisper White cardstock.
The stitched circle was cut from Real Red cardstock with the Warm Wrap Dies
The octagon from Warm Hugs was stamped with Real Red Ink and cut with the dies, and the greeting stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on Pear Pizzazz and cut with the Layered Circles Dies. They were adhered together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Red Rhinestone Jewel was added next to the greeting.
The 3/8″ Real Red Sheer Ribbon was looped and added behind the greeting circles.
For the lid of the Mini Coffee Cup, I used the same cardstock and ink colors and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the top. There is a Red Rhinestone on top of the Christmas tree.
The Mini Coffee Cup wrap is cut from Heartwarming Hugs DSP and Real Red cardstock with the Wrap Dies..
The Bailey’s Irish Cream is placed in a Mosaic Cello Bag and tied with the Real Red Sheer Ribbon.
The top of the Mini Coffee Carrier is dressed up with some Metallic Mesh, tied with 3/8 Mossy Meadow Striped Ribbon.

I hope they like their little gift! I know my UPS driver really loved his…I’m sure he could use a nice cup of coffee or milk with Bailey’s after a full day of delivering packages! Make sure to grab these products while they are available…many are available at CLEARANCE prices!

CCMC532 – Beautiful Blizzard

Another Thursday has rolled around…where is the time going? It is really feeling like Fall here this week…and soon we will get that white stuff in the air! So, I just had to pull out my Beautiful Blizzard stamp set for this Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

I really like this card…in fact, it is a SERIOUS contender for my Christmas card this year!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3 x 3-3/4 piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock is stamped with the snowflakes image in Beautiful Blizzard with Bermuda Bay Ink randomly over the background.
Two 1/2 x 3-1/4 pieces of Bermuda Bay (Brights) Designer Paper were added to the back, then the element placed on the front.
The greeting from Beautiful Blizzard is stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White, then cut with the Layering Circles, and adhere to a larger Scallop Circle Framelit. It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 1/4 x 2-1/2 strip of Silver Glimmer Paper is tucked in the circle sandwich.
Two snowflakes were cut from the Blizzard Thinlit Die from Whisper White cardstock and tucked around the Silver Glimmer Paper with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Glimmer Dots were added to the centers of the snowflakes.
