I’ve been working on my August Blendabilities Class and took a minute to make up this note card since I had the materials out! I was experimenting with laying lighter colors down first. It worked…at least in my mind! I love the Sweetbriar Rose image! It fits perfectly on a note card, too! I didn’t want to fill up the entire envelope with the image, so just added a strip of Rich Razzleberry on the side of the envelope like I did on the Whisper White layer on the note card.
Here are the details:
- The base is a Whisper White Note Card.
- On the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 layer of Whisper White, I stamped the Sweetbriar Rose image with Tuxedo Black Memento Pad.
- I colored the flowers with Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities and the centers with Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. On the leaves I used Old Olive Blendabilities.
- Along the right side, I added a 1/2″ strip of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. And added the same across the left edge of the envelope.
Pretty CAS design, but I really like how it turned out. I think I’ll make up a set of these for my mom in different colors!
