Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge

Wow…where do the weeks go?  I swear I just posted my Create with Connie and Mary challenge from LAST week and here it is time again to post Thursday's Challenge!  Mary certainly CHALLENGED us this week with these WILD and CRAZY colors!  Look at that the fabric she found to pull the colors of Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi.  Definitely looks "halloweenish", but I went in a different direction…so did most of the Design Team!  Check out what they did with this color scheme over on Create with Connie and Mary!

 

And here is my card.  I've been stuck in a mode of Halloween cards and Christmas cards…thought I'd get my florals out again!

 

 

I used Stampin' Up!'s Just Believe and colored the image with my Wild Wasabi and Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Markers and stamped on Whisper White.  This was layered on Elegant Eggplant.  I cut a Top Note from Tempting Turquoise and placed it under the focal element.  The base card is Elegant Eggplant and I layered on Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then ran Whisper White thru the Big Shot with Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder.  I placed the focal element on top of it.  I added the Pearls to the centers of the flowers and then along the edge in three sizes.  Friends is from Just Believe and I stamped it in Elegant Eggplant ink, punched with the Small Oval, layered on Tempting Turquoise Large Oval and finally on a Pumpkin Pie Scallop Oval punch.  It is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals!
