I'm on a Warmest of Wishes kick, especially since we are featuring it during our Preview Session over on Create with Connie and Mary! So, when I was working on yesterday's Create with Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge a few days ago, I made up a second card to show off that it can be used for something OTHER than holidays! This is for the Birthday card challenge over on The Paper Players this week! I'm late getting my challenge card posted…had too many other things posting this week already! lol!
I thought doing just a wreath in various shades of green would be pretty! I used Lucky Limeade, Old Olive and Certainly Celery. I also used the awesome hostess only designer paper, Cheerful Treat! I love this stripe pattern!
The base of the card is Lucky Limeade and I ran it thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder. Then I used two of the Cheerful Treat patterns and layered them on Crushed Concord. I added the Elegant Eggplant Dotted Ribbon (turned on the solid side) across to hide the seam. I also added two loops of it against the side. The wreath was colored with the markers mentioned above and punched with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. I added a 1 3/8" circle of Silver Glimmer Paper under the 1 1/4" circle of Melon Mambo. Inside I stamped "Happy Birthday Wishes" from Petite Pairs. I also added a couple Rhinestone Jewels for some extra bling.
You really can't appreciate how much that little touch of Silver Glimmer Paper makes the whole thing POP! Well, lots of things to do today! Finishing up a REALLY cool project for Create Holiday Edition…and need to work on a few more challenges! Have a great weekend!

I love this one! Great idea to use different shades of green for the wreathe. I was only thinking fall colors, but shows we can really use it for many occasions.
