CCM Saturday Blog Hop – Cute Halloween

This week’s CCM Saturday Blog Hop theme is “Cute Halloween”.  No secret that I love Halloween stamps…either cute or spooky!

BEST WITCHES

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Smoky Slate cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 3 x 5-1/2 piece of Celebrate Everything Designer Paper was added centered on the front.
  • The large Stylish Shapes circle was cut from Basic White and stamped with the Best Witches image in Memento Black.
  • The witch was colored with Daffodil Delight Combo, Smoky Slate Combo, Light Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie Combo, SU300, SU700, SU800, Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends and added ot the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A 1/4 x 4-1/4 strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock was added across the front.
  • The greeting from Best Witches was stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the label from Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered over the Pumpkin Pie strip.
  • A trio of yellow In Color Opal Rounds were added to the background.

CS57 – Best Witches

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Designer Paper”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in October using that theme!

BEST WITCHES

I think this set’s style of stamp images is just darling…and we’ve had several stamp sets done by this artist!  This is one of my favorites, though!  I created a super simple card using one of the “minor” images from Best Witches!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • Base is 4-1/4 x 11 Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was adhered on top.
  • A 1 x 4 piece of striped pattern Black & White Designs DSP was colored with the Dark Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends and adhered to the bottom.
  • A 1/4 x 4 strip of Basic Black cardstock was added along the top.
  • The little frog from Best Witches stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with the Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Combo.  It was hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Best Witches was stamped with Memento Black Ink above the frog.
  • A trio of Classic Matte Dots in Black were randomly added to the background.

Creatively Simple 54 – Best Witches

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Add a Tag”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in September using that theme!

BEST WITCHES

I just couldn’t resist getting the Best Witches stamp set…I love Halloween and these witch images are just TOO cute!

Stampin’ Details:

  • Base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • Add a 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 strip of the star pattern in Black & White Designs Designer Paper Package along the bottom.
  • Add a 1/4 x 4 strip of Silver Foil Paper towards the top of the DSP.
  • Cut half of the scallop Celebrations Tag Dies from Basic Black cardstock.
  • Stamp the witch with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and color with Rich Razzleberry Combo, Smoky Slate Combo, SU900, Light Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake Combo, Daffodil Delight Combo.  Add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Add 6″ of Metallic Mesh Ribbon tied on the tag.
  • Stamp the stars diagonally across the front of the base card with Pumpkin Pie Ink.
  • Stamp the greeting with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Celebrations Tags banner die.  Add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Cut the “moon” from Daffodil Delight cardstock with the Celebrations Tags circle die, add to front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Add two Iridescent Pearls to moon.
